When my Canadian partner got pregnant, we were faced with a problem that felt equal parts wonderful and logistically impossible: how do you share news this big with people scattered across two continents?
Video-calling everyone individually across the Atlantic wasn't realistic. And sending a text, however joyful, felt like it undersold the moment. We were having a baby boy. That deserved more than a message.
So, with a little help from AI, we built something simple: a quiz about us that our family and friends had to complete before learning the news. They answered questions, got them right, and the reveal happened on their screen, wherever they were in the world. The reaction was everything we hoped for.
People loved it. So we turned it into this.
